Long Gone Days Tells Its Story Today

A Long Gone Tale

Sometimes a video game has a very important story to tell. The kind of narrative that takes hard concepts, such as war, in a more approachable way. Importantly, video games often have a way of making players feel the weight of heavy concepts while giving them a step back. Today, Serenity Forge and This I Dreamt allow players to experience their narrative game, Long Gone Days. The game introduces players to a completely war-torn earth. Placing players in the boots of a soldier, players will embark on a story that deals with topics like language barriers, the elusiveness of peace, and more. A press release provides details on the game. Additionally, a launch trailer gives players a perfect look at what awaits them.

Long Gone Days

Long Gone Days introduces players to Rourke. As Rourke, players take on the role of an elite sniper, trained from birth, to eliminate enemies. However, on his first mission, he discovers this war isn’t what he thought. Importantly, as players adventure through the narrative they will face the complex realities of warfare. They will form relationships, look to cross language barriers, and more. However, the world is full of danger and players will put their sniping skills to the test choosing to pick off enemies from afar or engage in close-quarters turn-based combat. Yet, it is important to note, that every bullet can change the game.

Of course, players can view Long Gone Days in the new launch trailer. Check out the trailer below.

Long Gone Days is available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch now.
