Get Ready for Truxton Extreme
Today is a fine day for all the arcade game lovers. The Japanese video game company Tatsujin has announced Truxton Extreme for PlayStation 5. They also dropped a new official announcement trailer on their official YouTube Channel. The game is expected to launch in 2024 worldwide. It will also be showcased and playable at the Tokyo Game Show 2023. This event will take place at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan from 21-24 September.
Truxton Extreme is a vertical scrolling shoot ’em up game and a sequel to the 1992 game Truxton II. Players take control of the Super Fighter ship, a powerful spacecraft that must be used to defend the Earth from the invading Gidans. There are tons of customization for the ship and weapons. There will be new power-ups to explore as well that will help us blast through the enemies. Moreover, it will also feature comic strips for the story.
The game’s graphics have been completely overhauled for the modern era, and now feature high-resolution sprites and backgrounds. The gameplay has also been enhanced, with new enemy patterns and boss battles. The music has also been remastered and features new arrangements of the classic Truxton soundtrack.
Truxton Extreme is a faithful remake of the classic arcade game, but with enough new features to make it feel fresh and exciting. It is a must-play for fans of the shoot ’em-up genre and is sure to please both old-school gamers and newcomers alike.
