Today, Frontier Developments is excited to announce the full release of the latest update for their survival sim, Stranded: Alien Dawn. The update, titled “The Jungle Update”, is unleashing a whole new biome on players as well as loads of new content. A press release explores all the new content. Additionally, a teaser trailer for the update gives players a look at what awaits them in the jungles of Saltu.Â
Stranded: Alien Dawn invites players to form a settlement on an alien planet far from Earth. However, surviving on this new world isn’t easy. Every part of surviving is tied to the players choices in gameplay and how they ensure the colonists are looked after. Importantly, this means covering everything from basic needs to defense. In order to do so, players must cover growing food, developing buildings, researching technology, and more. Of course, planning your defenses against the weather, and the creatures, of this world are imperative to survival. Now, it’s about to get that much more difficult.Â
The new update brings players to the region of Saltu. Full of dense jungles, violent thunderstorms, and ferocious fauna. Of course, players can check out what awaits them in Saltu in the new trailer. View the trailer below.Â
