Open World RPG Wartales Officially Launches In Mid April on PC
Shiro Games is an independent video game development studio based in France. The team has worked on titles such as Dune: Spice Wars, Northgard and much more. At the Future Games Show Spring Showcase, Shiro Games announced that its upcoming open world RPG, Wartales, will be releasing on April 12th on PC. It will release as Version 1.0. The team made the announcement via a cool launch date trailer.
Since a plague swept the lands of the Edoran Empire, the world has plummeted into mercenary work, banditry and thievery. Furthermore, players will be able to gather a group of characters, of various backgrounds, in an open world game where they engage in combat to the death. Moreover, in the launch date trailer, viewers get a great look at a few aspects of the game such as some of its characters, combat, story and gameplay elements.
Additionally, players will be able to enjoy a vast amount of special features in the game such as four player cooperative action, where they plan tactics, devise strategy, share money, loot and more. Also, the developers describe the game’s world as, “Journey through a vast, open world in your quest for notoriety, wealth, and recognition, immersing yourself in lively villages and remnants of a bygone era. Explore abandoned mines, tombs, and camps as you piece together the history of this harsh world.”
