Slime Rancher 2 Song of the Sabers Update Has Officially Launched
Monomi Park is an award-winning video game developer that has been working on the Slime Rancher franchise for some time. Today, the company has announced the release of the Slime Rancher 2’s first major update, Song of the Sabers. In the update, players will have access to a ton of new and fun content. To celebrate the release, the developers also dropped a launch trailer for the update. Slime Rancher 2 is available in early access on Xbox Series, Xbox Game Pass and PC via Epic Games Store, Steam and the Microsoft Store.
In the Song of the Sabers, Beatrix Lebeau explores a new glacial island off the coast of Ember Valley, filled with resources, anomalies and treasure. Moreover, players will be able to explore Powerderfall Bluffs and engage in snowball fights with other slimes. Additionally, players can build new gadgets such as a Snowball Machine and enjoy various rewards such as precious resources from its frigid peaks. The Song of the Sabers update introduces a new layer of content and exploration for fans.
In the trailer, viewers get a great look at the snowy peaks and areas to explore as well as some creatures and characters in the area.
Early access programs are now used by developers to improve their game prior to its official launch. Monomi Park is utilizing the program to their benefit as players enjoy the game while contributing to its improvement.
