Crash Bandicoot Wumpa League May Finally Be Announced in December
Crash Bandicoot Wumpa League rumors have been circulating online for quite some time now. However, it would seem that the latest string of rumors is pointing to a possible announcement date. According to media packages that were sent to the press and multiple influencers, the game might finally be announced at The Game Awards.
As seen on the box, devs might finally showcase Crash Bandicoot Wumpa League later this year. “Hungry for more?” the sticker on the box read. “Try our new Wumpa Pizza for $12.08.” This seems to be a not-so-subtle reference to The Game Awards. After all, the event will take place on December 8th.
It certainly looks like 2022 is giving Crash Bandicoot fans more than just a whiff of the franchise. Activision had already confirmed an October 18th Steam launch for Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. Plus now, it looks like the devs are finally going to unveil the much-awaited Crash Bandicoot Wumpa League sooner than later.
The gaming public already knows that Developer Toys for Bob is working on a mysterious new project. They are the creative minds behind 2017’s Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy remaster and Crash Bandicoot 4. Plus, multiple reports have claimed that this secret project is going to be another installment for the franchise. In fact, some reports even claimed that it will be a four-player brawler. However, it remains unclear if it is the exact same game that Activision has been teasing.
It is also worth noting that Crash Bandicoot Wumpa League may be the last installment in the franchise to appear on PlayStation consoles. This remains unclear at the moment. However, many fans think that this might actually happen considering that Activision Blizzard is nearly in the grasp of Microsoft.
