Multiversus Season One And Morty Release Have Been DelayedÂ
Player First Games and Warner Bros. Interactive recently released Multiversus, its free to play fighting game into open beta. It is currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. Unfortunately, the developers have announced that the release of Season One and Morty, an upcoming character, has been delayed. Interested fans can check out the game here.
Via its official Twitter, the developers thanked players for indulging in the game and stated that the launch of Open Beta is just the first step. In its follow-up tweet, they stated, “We want to let everyone know that we are delaying the start of Season 1 & the release of Morty to a later date. We know this might be disappointing for some and want to assure our Community that we are dedicated to delivering new and exciting content that delights players.”
In closing, the developers once again thanked fans for their patience and enthusiasm and that they are excited to release Season 1 soon. Furthermore, they have made the decision to extend the Pre-Season Battle Pass until August 15th due to the delay. In Season One, players can expect new content along with a battle pass with fifty tiers.
In Multiversus, players head into the battlefield a brawler akin to Smash, except with their favorite characters from various Warner Bros. franchises. Some playable characters include Shaggy, Arya Stark, Taz, Batman and Superman. Moreover, players can look forward to Morty, an iconic character from Rick n Morty.
