Starfield is Making New Changes
Bethesda Studios have confirmed new Starfield details amid fans’ speculation. All dialogue scenes will take place in the first-person perspective and the main character’s lines will not have voice-over.
The fans’ concerns stemmed from two of the main Fallout 4 criticisms, third-person conversations with other characters, and voice-over for the main character. Both of which were said to have lessened the immersion of the players throughout their journey in the wasteland.
Bethesda seems to have taken note of both points. Not only have they adjusted those two settings in their new game, but also took to Twitter to explicitly inform the public of the new changes. “Yes, dialogue in @StarfieldGame is first person and your character does not have a voice,” said Bethesda Game Studios in a Tweet.

Bethesda has just shown the first-ever gameplay footage of Starfield yesterday during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase. The new trailer showed off the game’s gunplay, new settlement system, new crafting system, new lockpicking mechanic, new and revamped customization system, as well as a wide universe of 1000 planets for players to explore.
Starfield was originally announced in 2018 and until recently the game was slated to release in November of this year. However, Bethesda took to Twitter exactly one month ago to announce the delay of both Starfield and Redfall to the first half of 2023. “The teams at Arkane Austin (Redfall) and Bethesda Game Studios (Starfield) have incredible ambitions for their games, and we want to ensure that you receive the best, most polished versions of them,” said Bethesda in a statement.
Starfield is slated for release in 2023 on the Xbox Series X/S and PC. The game is also coming to the Xbox Game Pass subscription service on day 1.
