Roster is Now Even Bigger
WWE 2K22 has just received a new update that adds new playable characters to the game’s roster and makes various improvements to the game.
With Patch 1.12 for WWE 2K22, the game adds several new playable wrestlers to the game’s roster including Shinsuke Nakamura, Alexa Bliss ’20, King Booker, and Shawn Michaels ’18. These characters are not brand new to the game as they were featured in MyRise game mode, but they are now available for all other modes in the game’s main roster.
The new patch also fixes several glitches in WWE 2K22, adds new signature and finisher moves, and it also improves gameplay overall. Adjustments made should now improve the wrestlers’ collision and targeting systems. The patch also fixed a couple of Universe mode bugs such as minor shows not being created, a crash that occurs when deleting custom images while in use, and a crash that occurs when transitioning from the edit superstar menus.
In the previous patch number 1.09, WWE 2K22 released the brand new NXT 2.0 arena and it allowed players to create 2v2 matches for the tag team titles in MyGM mode.
WWE 2K22 is the latest installment of WWE Games with 2K since the disastrous run of WW 2K20. 2K took two years off in order to completely revamp the gameplay and overhaul the graphical quality of the WWE games. The game is now well-recieved by fans and critics alike, and is generally considered a great wrestling game.
WWE 2K22 is now available for purchase on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, as well as PC.
