Snoop Dogg Partners with Call of Duty, is Now a Playable Character

Snoop Dogg in Call of Duty. This is Not a Drill.

Has this ever happened to you? Youโ€™re sitting down, enjoying a nice wholesome game of Call of Duty: Warzone or Call of Duty: Vanguard, and feel a sudden urge to play as Snoop Dogg?

โ€ฆ What, thatโ€™s not an intensely relatable moment for you? Itโ€™s not something you wished for, dreamed about, hoped beyond hope that all could be right with the world, if only Activision would make this one simple addition?

Well, too bad. Because itโ€™s hereโ€™s and itโ€™s glorious. Too all those whoโ€™ve been having this highly specific wish, congratulations: heโ€™s here.

In the bundle, you get Snoop Dogg himself (obviously), and he comes fully voice-acted. Thereโ€™s also a trio of weapon blueprints for special weapons, all of which fire green tracer rounds. You can guess why they choose โ€œgreenโ€ for something like this. The weapons have names like โ€œTha Shiznitโ€ (which is an SMG), โ€œBong Ripperโ€ (a sniper rifle), and โ€œWest Coast Blingโ€ (an assault rifle).

Thereโ€™s also a ton of other goodies, including a spray, an emblem, a match intro, and an MVP highlight. All dive straight into Snoopโ€™s deep and intricate persona.

But this reveal also comes with a special gift, something you donโ€™t even need to pay for. That unveiling video has a positively glorious comments section, and more than worth a browse. Call of Duty fans are having a field day with this one.

Highlights include, โ€œI remember when snoop dogg helped seize Normandy in the D-Day landings. This is historically accurateโ€, and of course, โ€œI remember my great grandpa telling me the story of snoop soloing โ€œenemy teamโ€ and clutching a deathmatch for โ€œmy teamโ€ .โ€
