The year is 1994, Final Fantasy VI has just been released and it’s a grand old time. But wait, no, it’s actually 28 years later – the year is 2022 and Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster is here. So after almost 3 decades is Final Fantasy VI still just as fun? It’s about time to find out.
Final Fantasy VI is the sixth game that’s been remodeled by Square Enix with retro 2D pixelated graphics. It features a soundtrack from Nobuo Uematsu, auto-battle options and improved UI and even more. There’s also a few extras to take in, like a music player and an illustration gallery.
