The Dark Pictures Anthology Friends Pass Returns

Don’t Face The Dark Alone 

Prepare to venture into the darkness… with a friend. Bandai Namco’s narrative horror game, The Dark Pictures Anthology, is returning the friends pass. The pass allows players to play through any of the three games alongside a friend. Maybe it will make things a little less scary. In addition the Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes curators cut is now free. A press release about the friend pass and the, now free, curators cut provides more details. 

Dark Pictures Anthology is an ongoing series of standalone narrative, and cinematic horror games. The game puts the player in control of a character who lives or dies depending on the choices the player makes while playing. Currently there are three parts of the anthology: House of Ashes, Man Medan, and Little Hope. The gameplay consists of  branching narratives that reflect the choices the player has made during the story. In addition, the game can be played in co-op with a friend on the same game system as you. 

Relating to the co-op feature of the game, Bandai Namco is offering a friend pass from now until February 28th. Any player who owns one of the games in the Anthology (House of Ashes, Man Medan, or Little Hope) will gain access to a free friend pass. This will allow you to play the game with someone who does not own the game, as long as they are on the same game system as you. The friend you want to play with will have to download the trial of the game you are wanting to play. 

Additionally, Bandai Namco has made the House of Ashes curators cut free to everyone. This allows players, after first beating the game, to go back through and play as different characters, with different choices, and outcomes. 

The offer is open until February 28 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PCs. Do you dare explore the dark?
