A Story of Family in a Funky ApocalypseÂ
Prepare to explore a world that needs saving. Indie Developer 2for2’s puzzle adventure, Kapia, is preparing to launch into its story tomorrow. A press release about the game provides more details about the story. In addition the release speaks on control schemes, puzzles, and more.Â
Kapia puts the player in the perspective of a grandfather and granddaughter duo. The world of Kapia is one broken in two. Two coalitions at war, east and west, and people living in domes. The player will play as both grandfather and granddaughter as they uncover the crises that broke their world.Â
The game boasts both a point and click and a modern game approach to exploration. Players will play from both perspectives of grandfather, Stefan, and granddaughter, Reny. Each perspective will offer a unique narrative as they work towards a common goal.Â
A trailer, released last year, gives players a look at the art style of the game and some gameplay. In addition, the trailer helps highlight the story.Â
Â
The style of the game appears animated and may make players feel like they are partaking in a show. You can see a mixture of medieval and modern, funky and sleek. This is the world of Kapia. And it needs help.Â
Kapia is set for release tomorrow, January 25th. It will be out on PC via Steam. Are you ready to dive into the apocalyptic world of Kapia? Do you think you have what it takes to save the world?Â
