A September 2022 Release?Â
A leak from PlayStation Database earlier today seems to have given the world a release date for God of War: Ragnarok. That’s right, though it could just be a placeholder for now, a tweet by PlayStation Game Size who monitors the PlayStation Database claims a September 30th, 2022 release for the anticipated game. Â

According to video game charts, God of War (2018) erupted onto the world selling 19.5 million copies since August 2021. Scoring a perfect ten in IGN’s rating of it, the game was a testament to the possibilities of story telling in videogames. It’s no wonder people have been eager for news on the sequel.Â
In addition to the news that Ragnarok had been pushed back to 2022, fans wanted more. A release date, any kind of news. A trailer released in September of this year was a start. Now it seems, they may have some hope for a September 2022 release.Â
Although, according to the tweet, the PlayStation Database claims a September 30th release, it’s important gamers take this info with a grain of salt. The date may very well just be a placeholder. Possibly, a goal to shoot for. On the other hand, it may be valid info that a release is scheduled for that month.Â
What do you think? Do you think God of War Ragnarok is coming out September 30th 2022? At any rate, fans of the series have a bit longer to wait until more Kratos action hits their PlayStations.Â
