Misery Now Available Physically
If you haven’t had the chance to check out A Plague Tale: Innocence, you really should. It is a fantastic game. If you are lucky enough to have a PS5 and/or Xbox Series X and are a fan of physical game copies, then you are in luck. A Plague Tale: Innocence now has a physical next-gen version for the PS5 and the Xbox Series X.
The next-gen version includes several enhancements such as 60 FPS, audio optimizations, enhanced graphics up to 4K UHD, and faster load times. As someone lucky enough to have a next-gen console, those quicker load times are the best thing to happen to games.
Here is a quick run down if you don’t know what A Plague Tale: Innocence is. Follow the grim tale of young Amicia and her little brother Hugo in a heartrending journey through the darkest hours of history. Hunted by Inquisition soldiers and surrounded by unstoppable swarms of rats, Amicia and Hugo will come to know and trust each other. As they struggle to survive against overwhelming odds, they will fight to find purpose in this brutal, unforgiving world.
Here are some of the key features:
- An original story featuring two young orphans on the run from the Inquisition.
- A gameplay that blends action and adventure phases.
- Survive against a great danger: supernatural swarms of rats that appeared with the great plague
As someone who really enjoys these story-driven games, I can’t recommend A Plague Tale: Innocence enough. It has fantastic characters, and it really pulls at the heartstrings. You can’t help but root for these two as they go on their harrowing journey.
A Plague Tale: Innocence is out now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and a cloud version is on the Nintendo Switch.
