Sacré Bleu!
The Microsoft Store is sometimes a great place for leaks and premature announcements. For example, a couple of months ago, it leaked Two Point Campus before it had been announced. It also accidently lets out release dates for different title DLCs and add-ons, which may or may not be accurate.
It appears that the Microsoft Store has struck again. The upcoming Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC, Siege of Paris’ release date may have been leaked. It was seen with a launch date of August 5th, but the page has since been removed.
Ubisoft has not yet made an official announcement on the release date, but the initial roadmap of post-launch content projected its release sometime this Summer. Oh, and would you look at the time. It’s right in the middle of Summer.
Maybe this supposed August 5th release date has some truth to it. Then again, the previous DLC, Wrath of the Druids was delayed from April to May, so this could have thrown off the entire schedule of content. We will just have to wait and see if Ubisoft confirms this date or announces another one.
Regardless of when this comes out, the last DLC was priced at $25 USD, so we can assume that Siege of Paris will have the same price. You could also get it included with the Season Pass, Gold Edition, or Ultimate Edition.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Stadia.
