Is that the message here? That your turn as a Werewolf is one fueled by murdering those who are destroying the planet? If so, I am fully on board. Cyanide has debuted our first look at Werewolf: The Apocalypse Earthblood in action, and it’s just as extra as you were hoping for.
Embedded below, the trailer is a ripcord-shredding dive into exuberant violence. Playing as a hairy, howling killing machine should be fun, you know? I still have no idea what the story is actually like, but I know that at least a few jaw bones are being thrust into the sky in triumph. What else do you really need to know before launch, anyway?
Well, the game is coming on February 4th, 2021. We’ve got listings for both PS4 and PS5, as well as the PC and both of the Xboxes, so it’s getting that next-gen treatment. Whether the gameplay can live up to the now-simmering hype remains to be seen, but that first glimpse is a pretty hopeful one. Personally, I didn’t see a lot of next-gen in the trailer below, but that’s something you can judge for yourself! Maybe we’ll get a 4K version of this trailer soon?
