Hey, Scare Sister
Nintendo goes one of two ways in announcing games for the Nintendo Switch. Either they go all out with a grandiose Nintendo Direct or say nothing at all. They went down the latter path with this release yesterday. Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location is the latest FNaF game to join the Nintendo Switch library. Prior to this installment, the Nintendo Switch also had Five Nights at Freddy’s 1-3 and Help Wanted added to the platform. Though Sister Location is one of the less favoured of the FNaF games, at least Nintendo does not seem to be discriminating between titles of the series.
Alongside the surprise release, a trailer for the Nintendo Switch port was released. The trailer contains glimpses of gameplay. A lot of the footage is of the different animatronics moving their various appendages and plates over their circuitry, as well as flashes of words like “panic” and “fear” for dramatic effect. But who really needs to see a ton of FNaF gameplay to decide if they want it or not? It’s Five Nights at Freddy’s; you know what you are getting into.
Right now, the Nintendo Switch is the only console that has Sister Location. PS4 and Xbox One have all the other FNaF games that the Nintendo Switch has. Sister Location can be purchased and downloaded from the Nintendo eShop for just $7.99.
