Less Operators Coming to Rainbow Six Siege in Year 5 Pass
With year four of Rainbow Six Siege recently coming to an end, the Year 5 Pass has had a content leak on Reddit, with a Ubisoft community manager not denying the content. More information on Year 5 will be revealed at the Six Invitational, which takes place February 7th until February 16th. As usual, pass holders will get free cosmetics and discounts to further expand their inventories. Year 5 will release in the next couple of months for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
The following is the complete list of the Rainbow Six Siege Year 5 Pass information:
- 6 Year 5 operators with 7-day early access
- 10% off in the shop
- 5% renown boost
- Exclusive customization options
- 30% Bonus Battle Points (not applied to challenges or achievements)
- 30% Discount on Battle Pass purchase
- 0.3% Alpha Pack Boost
Redditor Ignotusartifex was the account who leaked the Year 5 Pass information and a Ubisoft community manager further explained what to expect in Year 5. “As our Game Director, Leroy Athanassoff stated, ‘We are investing our resources on building more features and systems that will impact every player in every match’.”
“The Year 5 Pass reflects this direction focused on features that benefit all players, not just those playing the newest Operators. It will lead to additional content for all players, such as free events, extensive reworks, and other core gameplay features. More details on why we are releasing six Operators in Year 5, as well as how that leads into Year 6 and beyond will be shared during the Six Invitational.”
