Return of the Obra Dinn Is Heading to More Platforms!
Return of the Obra Dinn will launch on PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One on October 18th, according to the game’s developer Lucas Pope. The first-person puzzle game initially launched last October on the same date for PC and Mac.
Players take the role of an insurance investigator who works for the East India Company and needs to find out what happened to the 51-person crew of the merchant ship, the Obra Dinn. The ship recently returned to England with no crew aboard and no obvious indications about what happened so it’s up to the insurance investigator to get to the bottom of this mystery.
However, there’s a twist: The insurance investigator must use a magic pocket watch called the “Memento Mortem”, which can control time and allow the investigator to see what happened to the crew members just before they died.
