They all have the potential to blow us away or be completely disappointing, and we’re really not sure what to expect from any of them. The first pick for our list is Link’s Awakening, a rebuild of the original game that has been reimagined with a brand new art style for the Nintendo Switch. The new edition of Link’s Awakening is set to release on September 20, but we believe that even though it’s based on one of the best Zelda games to ever exist, the remake could potentially be a swing and a miss. Next up on the list is Outer Worlds because it has so much potential to be amazing, especially following the huge success of Fallout: New Vegas, but could be in danger of being overhyped and unable to live up to the expectations and buzz around it.
Some of the other games we chose for our 10 Best Games to Play This Fall That We Aren’t Sure Are Good Yet list include Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Gears 5, Borderlands 3, and Control.
