Final Fantasy VII’s Switch Port Is Coming
Back in September of last year, Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy VII (not the remake) will be coming to Switch and Xbox One. Now, a new commercial suggests that the release might be coming sooner than we think. Although the commercial also features Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, it features a quick bit of Final Fantasy VII footage and a YouTube description that says the game is “coming soon.”
If the footage is any indicator, the version of the game is likely the old PC port that is already available on other systems. The other possibility is an emulation version of the PlayStation original, but this isn’t very likely.
