Is the Fairy Out of the Bag?
The Official Japanese Bravely Default Twitter got an update, with some adorable artwork and an interesting confirmation.

The tweet, when translated reads “I am at work! Good Luck! This year there is a slightly different challenge but I think I will make a good game. I hope people will enjoy it.”
Fans of the Bravely Series have been waiting patiently since the Bravely Default twitter was changed to a display name of “ブレイブリー◯◯◯◯◯” – or “Bravely◯◯◯◯◯” back in August when they also teased the reverse side of the illustration done to celebrate the one million copies sold of Octopath Traveler.
Since the tweet was made on the official account, it’s probably safe to assume that the new title will be part of the Bravely Series – but at this time things are obviously under wraps. There’s lots of room for speculation at this time – with fans hoping for both a third entry in the series, or potentially an HD port to the Nintendo Switch of Bravely Default and Bravely Second.
I would personally argue that Bravely Default and Bravely Second are two of the best RPGs on the Nintendo 3DS, and I would be interested to see if they continue to keep the series on the handheld or move it over to the Switch. Hopefully we get that answer sooner rather than later!
