7)Â Gears of War 4
While we aren’t seeing a brand new Gears of War game release anytime soon, fans can get excited that the latest in the series is set to receive a new enhancement update from Microsoft. This update will increase the detail with which we get to experience all of the blood and gore of the fiercely fun combat within Gears of War 4. Offering 4K resolution, HDR, and 60 frames per second, you’ll get to see every little cutscene and gunshot clearer than ever before on the Xbox One X. If you thought the graphics were amazing to begin with, prepare yourself to have your senses set ablaze, just like the thousands of enemies you’re bound to set on fire throughout your journey.
6) Final Fantasy XV
Imagine one of the most popular and critically acclaimed titles of 2016 in even better detail. Were you able to envision it? Final Fantasy XV on the Xbox One X is set to offer amazing 4K resolution to make the already stunning graphics that much better. On top of that, the addictive combat and adventures of the open-world game will be made even more fun at 60 frames per second. Maybe this is the time to see what Prince Noctis and his companions are all about, especially if you’ve never set foot in the masterful world of Final Fantasy before. It is definitely exciting to think that a game already so cherished amongst the gaming community could become that much better on the Xbox One X.
5) The Evil Within 2
The Evil Within 2 looks like an absolute nightmare come to life. And that’s exactly why it makes it onto this list of titles. This third-person survival horror game looks like it combines the best of the genre, with the technology of the Xbox One X, to make it a truly haunting experience. The Evil Within 2 will be featured in 4K resolution and HDR, meaning that every little creak in the floor boards and movement in your peripheral could be enough to send you into the fetal position on your couch. The Evil Within 2 seems like a complete embodiment, with the help of the Xbox One X enhancement, of the scariest movies come to life. If that isn’t exciting for horror enthusiasts, I don’t know what is.
4) Wolfenstein: The New Colossus
Wolfenstein: The New Colossus is the highly anticipated sequel of the 2014 first-person shooter Wolfenstein: The New Order. If you’ve seen any of the trailers or gameplay, you’ll know that it looks incredible. From the amazing textures, and I truly do mean amazing, you can see every little detail within the game. From the weapons to the clothing, and even to BJ’s facial hair, Bethesda takes the hardware of the Xbox One X and uses the 4K and HDR capabilities to their benefit in Wolfenstein: The New Colossus. Of course, who wouldn’t be excited for some epic wheelchair combat facing off against some Nazis during World War II?
