Xbox One Backward Compatibility Roster Expands
More titles are now available for the Xbox One through Backwards Compatibility! Larry Hyrb from Xbox, revealed the news on Twitter, indicating that Microsoft has added another seven classic Xbox 360 titles to the ever expanding Xbox One backwards compatibility library this past week. As the list of backwards compatible games continues to grow, with over 100 titles, they just keep getting better each time.
Since the release of Xbox One Backward Compatibility program, it has been one of the most popular features to hit the Xbox One platform! This isn’t surprising though, as it allows Xbox gamers the opportunity to play some of their favourite Xbox 360 games on the newest console. Xbox adds to the list of backwards compatible games quite regularly, and as such they have released seven more this week. The seven newly added titles include:
- Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2
- Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved
- Hard Corps: Uprising
- Harms Way
- Band of Bugs
- Bullet Soul
- Bullet Soul – Infinite Burst
In 2016 Xbox Head Phil Spencer had also suggested that the team could look at the prospect of bringing original Xbox games into the fold for backwards compatibility.
