Death Stranding to Support 4K
Back in July, Hideo Kojima alongside Sony’s Mark Cerny, had some words to say about his upcoming project, Death Stranding. At the time, he said Death Stranding will be his best work yet. In order to be the best, Kojima is surely going to make sure it is technically sound. Yesterday, Hideo Kojima was on Sony’s stage at Tokyo Game Show, and provided a little more insight into his massively ambitious project.
First of all, Kojima confirmed that the game will support 4K and HDR on PS4 pro. This is fantastic news but really, was this ever in doubt? Secondly, he also explained that the engine for the game has finally been decided. It’s not a commercially available engine, but it belongs to a famous studio. Kojima Production will be able to use the engine as part of a technical cooperation, and it’ll be brushed up further. Kojima did not provide further details on the name or nature of the engine.
What engine do you think he is using? Tell us below.
