All aboard, cowboys! Flagship Interactive and Biotech Gameworks have announced Totally Safe Railway Co., a chaotic co-op adventure that lets players take control of their very own steam-powered railroad in the Wild West. The game is heading to Steam in Q4 2026 and is now available to wishlist.
Players will team up as cowboy conductors and attempt to keep their railway operation running across a frontier where just about anything can go wrong. From delivering passengers and cargo to keeping the locomotive fueled and repaired, there will be plenty to handle between stops.
Of course, the Wild West isn’t exactly known for peaceful train journeys. Players will have to deal with train robbers, ambushes, dangerous wildlife, and other unexpected threats while traveling between towns. Protecting the train will be just as important as getting everyone to their destination.
The locomotive can also grow alongside the railway company. Players can add new wagons, expand the train’s capabilities, and strengthen its defenses as they venture deeper into the frontier.
Adding even more chaos is the trusty cowboy lasso. It can be used to grab loot, catch animals, pull objects, deal with outlaws and, naturally, cause trouble for friends.
With procedurally arranged railways, towns, and encounters ensuring that each journey plays out differently, Totally Safe Railway Co. could make every trip feel like a new Wild West disaster waiting to happen.
