Razer Reveals Clio X Wireless Speaker Head Cushion at PAX West 2026

Enjoy a Different Kind of Comfort With Clio X

Razer has officially introduced the Razer Clio X, a new wireless speaker head cushion designed to bring immersive rear surround sound to most high-back gaming and office chairs. The accessory made its debut during PAX West 2026, running from September 4–7, and aims to deliver a more cinematic audio experience without requiring users to wear a headset.

The Clio X features a near-field speaker system with dual 38mm full-range drivers and 55mm passive radiators, angled directly toward the user’s ears. Combined with THX Spatial Audio, the cushion creates a wider, more realistic soundstage that enhances positional audio in games while also improving movies and music.

Razer has also focused on wireless convenience. The Clio X uses Razer HyperSpeed 2.4 GHz technology for ultra-low-latency audio on PC and consoles, while Bluetooth support expands compatibility with other devices. It can run for up to 40 hours when connected to a compatible USB-C PD 2.0 power bank, and its built-in USB-C cable tucks neatly into a rear storage pouch for a cleaner setup.

Designed for everyday comfort, the plush foam head cushion includes an adjustable 30–65 cm nylon strap, allowing it to fit a wide range of high-back chairs. It can also function as a standalone wireless speaker or pair with an existing soundbar or 2.0/2.1 speaker system in Surround Mode, adding rear-channel audio powered by THX Spatial Audio.

With the Clio X, Razer is turning an ordinary gaming chair into a surprisingly capable surround sound solution.
