The Next Chapter of Cleared Hot Is on Its Way
Cleared Hot is heading into the storm. MicroProse and Not Knowing Corporation have confirmed that Jungle Storm, the second campaign for the helicopter action game, will launch on October 15 as a free update for all players.
The new campaign adds nine missions, offering roughly the same amount of playtime as Chapter 1. This time, players will take to the skies over a dangerous jungle filled with heavy rain, lightning, and new threats. The developers are also teasing a new boss fight, although they are keeping its details hidden for now.
Two new helicopters will join the roster: the Ka-52 and MH-53. Both were selected through a community helicopter poll. All 11 helicopters will also receive their own unique abilities inspired by their real-world roles, giving each aircraft a more distinct feel.
Jungle Storm also introduces a new Utility slot, allowing players to use tools such as flares, chaff, EMPs, airstrikes, and smoke grenades. New enemies include BTRs, Shilkas, gunboats, swift boats, drone swarms, and additional turrets.
Beyond the campaign, the update adds purchasable helicopter skins, a level editor, early file-based modding support, and a revamped gun overheating system. Player feedback from Chapter 1 has also shaped several fixes and improvements.
Cleared Hot is currently available through Steam Early Access. With new missions, helicopters, enemies, and customization options on the way, Jungle Storm looks like an awesome chapter for the game.
