Cities: Skylines II Is Getting Bigger and Busier
Cities: Skylines II is getting a major upgrade as Paradox Interactive and Iceflake Studios have officially launched Expansion Pass 2, bringing a huge wave of new content to the city-building hit.
Priced at $44.99/£37.99/€44.99 on PC, the new pass offers up to 24% savings compared to purchasing its content separately. More importantly, it gives players plenty of new ways to build, manage, and bring their cities to life.
Expansion Pass 2 starts with the Downtown Market Set, an instant unlock that transforms empty spaces into lively social hubs packed with repurposed shipping containers, food trucks, and shops. It also adds a Scottish-inspired map featuring lochs, rivers, and atmospheric ruins.
The biggest addition is Park Adventures, which introduces an entirely new approach to park management. Players can design city parks, zoos, amusement parks, and nature reserves, then manage everything from ticket prices and staff budgets to maintenance. With more than 100 new assets and five maps included, there is plenty to experiment with.
City Vacations also gives the tourism system a substantial makeover. Seasonal visitor numbers, new attractions, landmarks, and additional tourism management options give players more control over how tourists experience their cities.
The pass also includes the Modern Suburbs, First Response, and Map Pack Creator Packs, along with the Corner Street Beats radio station. On top of all that, the Autumn Breeze patch launches alongside the pass with gameplay, visual, and UI improvements.
With so much arriving at once, Cities: Skylines II builders have plenty of new reasons to return to the city.
