Team Up With Your Friends in Teardown

Teardown has just gotten a major multiplayer upgrade, with Tuxedo Labs releasing its free online multiplayer update alongside Mod Pack 6 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The update finally lets console players team up and wreak havoc across Teardown’s fully destructible world. Up to 12 players can jump into the action, whether they want to work together, compete against each other, or simply cause as much destruction as possible.

Thanks to the update, players can now tackle the base game’s 40-mission campaign in co-op, opening up plenty of opportunities for creative teamwork and chaotic solutions. Sandbox Mode also supports multiplayer, giving players unlimited resources to experiment with the game’s physics and destruction.

For those looking for competition, the update adds classic multiplayer modes such as Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Capture the Flag. Two new official maps, Splitfield Estate and Cratertown, also join the game. Splitfield Estate includes the Treasure Thieves mode, while Cratertown features a mirrored design built specifically for team-based matches.

Meanwhile, Mod Pack 6 adds 30 new multiplayer-compatible mods to consoles. These include popular modes such as Battle Royale, Vehicle Sumo, and Prop Hunt. More than 40 previously released mods from Mod Packs 1-4 have also received multiplayer support.

With so much new content to explore, Teardown’s multiplayer update gives console players plenty of reasons to jump back in. Just expect things to get very destructive, very quickly.
