Two New Scenarios Await in Terra Invicta
Hooded Horse and Pavonis Interactive have officially launched Dark Skies, the first major expansion for their grand strategy title Terra Invicta. The DLC is now available on Steam, GOG, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store, giving players new ways to experience the game’s blend of global politics, space strategy, and hard science fiction.
Dark Skies introduces two brand-new alternate history scenarios that push players into some of humanity’s most dangerous moments. One scenario imagines a world devastated by nuclear war after the Cuban Missile Crisis spirals into catastrophe, forcing players to rebuild civilization from the ashes while preparing for future threats. The second takes players back to the 2003 U.S. invasion of Iraq, nearly two decades before the alien invasion begins, where hidden extraterrestrial activity quietly shapes world events long before the public becomes aware of the danger.
The expansion also adds new NASA-inspired and industrial hard sci-fi spacecraft aesthetics, allowing Earth’s space fleets to take on alien forces across the Solar System with a fresh visual style.
Terra Invicta: Dark Skies is priced at $9.99 / £8.99 / €9.99 / ¥980 and is currently available with a 10% launch discount through August 8, 2026. Meanwhile, the base game is available for $39.99 / £34.99 / €39.99 / ¥3,980, with a 40% discount on Steam during the same promotional period.
For fans of deep strategy games and alternate history storytelling, Dark Skies delivers an exciting new challenge that expands Terra Invicta’s already ambitious vision.
