Welcome to an Upgraded Hell in Sintopia
Piraknights Games and Team17 are giving players more reasons to dive into Sintopia with the game’s first major post-launch update. Called the Imployee Retention Update, the free content update is now available on Steam alongside the game’s launch on the Epic Games Store, bringing new management tools, gameplay improvements, and quality-of-life features to the hellish business simulator.
In Sintopia, players take on the role of a middle manager at Hell Incorporated, where the job is to process sinful souls, rehabilitate them through eternal punishment, and decide who deserves another chance at life. The latest update expands those responsibilities with several useful additions designed to make managing the underworld far more efficient.
One of the biggest new features is the Souls Gate, a facility that helps organize the flow of incoming souls and directs them to their proper destinations, reducing congestion across Hell. Players also gain access to the Ground Flattener, which permanently removes troublesome obstacles from the map, making expansion easier. Meanwhile, the Souls Relocator lets players send lost or misplaced souls back to Hell Plaza instantly, eliminating the need to demolish roads or redesign layouts just to fix traffic issues.
Beyond the new tools, the Imployee Retention Update introduces a range of balancing adjustments and quality-of-life improvements aimed at creating a smoother management experience for both new and returning players.
To celebrate the update, Sintopia is also available at a 20% discount for a limited time until August 10, making it a good opportunity for newcomers to jump into Hell’s growing corporate empire.
