Time to Upgrade Your City Game Studio
Indie developer Binogure Studio has announced that City Game Studio v1.28 will launch on September 23 for Steam and GOG. To celebrate the release, the studio will offer a 45% discount for the first seven days, making it the biggest update the business simulation game has received in months.

The headline feature is a complete redesign of the in-game digital store. Players can now view revenue and concurrent players first, while new specialist roles add automation to store management. A network administrator reduces server load, and marketing specialists can automatically organize festivals to help boost game sales.
Version 1.28 also streamlines market research by merging two separate systems into one. This makes progression much easier while eliminating a bug that wasted time and money on repeated research. Human Resources has also become more useful, as HR managers can now send unhappy employees on vacation automatically to prevent resignations during challenging campaigns.
Beyond new features, the update introduces the FriendSlop genre, allowing players to create social deduction hits inspired by games like Among Us. Quality-of-life improvements include color-coded construction menus, customizable CEO salaries, and faster setup for new games.
Binogure Studio has also rebuilt the game’s window management system to eliminate interface freezes and patched a notorious USB controller crash that accounted for a significant number of refund requests. Performance improvements and numerous bug fixes round out the release.
The developer has already confirmed that work on v1.29 is underway, with even smarter marketing specialists planned next. For longtime fans, this update looks like a meaningful step forward.
