Huey Helicopter Lands Soon in Hell Let Loose: Vietnam
Team17 and Expression Games have unveiled the post-launch roadmap for Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, giving players a first look at the major content and quality-of-life updates planned throughout the rest of 2026.
The first content update is scheduled to arrive in the coming weeks and will introduce one of the community’s most requested additions: the fully licensed Huey Helicopter. Joining it are two new weapons, the American M14 rifle and the Chinese Type 56 SKS, expanding the game’s growing battlefield arsenal.

Beyond the first update, the developers confirmed that more weapons, vehicles, and entirely new battlefields are already in development. Alongside fresh content, the studio says improving the overall gameplay experience remains a top priority through regular optimization, stability updates, bug fixes, and community-driven quality-of-life patches.
The recently released Patch 1.2 marks a significant step in that effort, delivering more than 500 fixes and improvements across nearly every aspect of the game. Highlights include resolving server crashes caused by tunnel usage, fixing persistent HUD and UI issues, improving commander ability placement, enhancing knife hit registration, correcting longest-kill stat tracking, boosting image stability on consoles, and addressing several keybinding problems.
According to the developers, Patch 1.3 is already in the works and could arrive as early as next week as they continue responding to player feedback.
Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. With a steady stream of new content and ongoing improvements ahead, the game looks set for an exciting remainder of 2026.
