Overcome the Undead in No More Room in Hell 2
Torn Banner Studios has officially announced that No More Room in Hell 2 will leave Early Access and launch its full 1.0 version on August 11, 2026. The developer is also expanding the zombie survival experience beyond PC for the first time by partnering with Green Man Gaming to bring the game to PlayStation and Xbox, with full cross-play support across all platforms.
Players can already pre-order the game on the Xbox Store with a 20% discount. When the game launches on August 11, Steam and Epic Games Store players will be able to grab it at 35% off, while PlayStation and Xbox users will receive a 20% launch discount.
The 1.0 release marks the biggest update since the game’s Early Access debut in 2024. After nearly two years of development, Torn Banner Studios has implemented more than 8,000 community-driven bug fixes and performance improvements. The update also introduces several quality-of-life features, including revamped difficulty settings, match reconnect, an “Unstuck” button, a redesigned user interface, and other gameplay refinements.
One of the biggest additions is Survival Mode, which joins the game as a permanent feature after being previewed during the Free Weekend event. In this mode, teams of up to eight players must defend speaker towers against relentless zombie waves while buying enough time for civilian evacuations.
The update also makes the game more welcoming for newcomers with new tutorial areas, rebalanced difficulty levels, and an all-new Solo Mode. Players can now explore maps, learn mechanics, and practice strategies without the risk of permadeath before jumping into the game’s intense cooperative missions.
With its console debut, major gameplay improvements, and a wealth of new content, No More Room in Hell 2 is shaping up to deliver its most complete and accessible zombie survival experience yet.
