Go North Launches Today on Steam and Xbox Series X|S With a Magical Maze Adventure

Enter the Magical Labyrinth in Go North

Solo Nigerian developer gazuntype has launched Go North today on PC via Steam and Xbox Series X|S, with a Nintendo Switch release planned for a later date. The cozy maze adventure takes players on a relaxing journey through a magical world where ancient technology and mystical powers shape every path.

In the game, players take control of Dara as they travel through a series of handcrafted labyrinths filled with twisted forests, towering bookshelf corridors, floating sky islands, and other surreal environments. Their mission is to head north, find the mysterious Maze God, and earn a single wish by uncovering his hidden location.

Instead of rushing players, Go North encourages them to slow down and enjoy the journey. Developer Tade Ajiboye designed each maze to capture the feeling of searching for direction while creating a calm and reflective experience inspired by peaceful walks.

As players explore, they can collect powerful relics that combine magic and technology. They can glide across the maze with the moth-shaped Lunaboard or rise above the landscape inside a levitating bubble to scout new routes. Hidden Golden Compasses unlock additional rewards, while hats, scarves, and other cosmetic items let players customize Dara throughout the adventure.

Ajiboye says he built Go North around the simple joy of walking, hoping players will take their time, appreciate the scenery, and enjoy exploring without time limits or penalties.

Go North is available now on Steam and Xbox Series X|S for $14.99, with a limited-time 10% launch discount. If you’re looking for a relaxing adventure that rewards curiosity over speed, then this game is worth adding to your wishlist, or better yet, playing today.
