Commit Sin, Sacrilege, and Savagery in the Immortal John Triptych
The bizarre world of Joe Richardson’s acclaimed Renaissance-inspired adventure games is finally making its way to consoles in one complete package. Publisher Akupara Games has announced that The Immortal John Triptych will launch on August 27 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

The collection brings together Richardson’s award-winning trilogy, Four Last Things, The Procession to Calvary, and Death of the Reprobate, offering players a surreal journey through the English countryside filled with absurd humor, strange characters, and unforgettable adventures. Expect everything from dancing babies and drug-fueled metrognomes to bizarre encounters with a version of God who seems unusually enthusiastic about the apocalypse.
Known for blending Renaissance artwork with modern comedy, The Immortal John Triptych transforms classical paintings into interactive worlds packed with puzzles, satire, and plenty of irreverent jokes. Players will also get access to exclusive bonus content, including deleted scenes, behind-the-scenes time-lapses, and developer Joe Richardson’s creative process as he assembled these uniquely handcrafted adventures from historic works of art.
PC players won’t miss out on the celebration either. Steam users can pick up the Immortal John Triptych: Weird Extra Content Art Gallery DLC Thing-y, which bundles the bonus content while unlocking any missing titles within the collection. Existing owners of the games will also receive a free quality-of-life update, bringing all three adventures in line with one another and improving the overall experience.
If you’ve never experienced Joe Richardson’s delightfully strange take on Renaissance art, this collection looks like the perfect excuse to dive into one of gaming’s most unique and hilarious adventure series.
