Echo Weaver Will Begin the Time Loop on PC and Consoles This October

Travel Through Shattered Timeline in Echo Weaver

Moonlight Kids and publisher Akupara Games have officially confirmed that Echo Weaver will launch on October 8 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Alongside the announcement, the developers released a new trailer that offers another look at the game’s fast-paced exploration, platforming, and reality-bending world as players race against a collapsing timeline.

Echo Weaver

Echo Weaver is a knowledge-based Metroidvania that puts a unique twist on progression. Instead of collecting traditional upgrades, players rely on what they learn during each run. You play as the last surviving Weaver, exploring the shattered world of Provenance while trapped inside an endless time loop. Every reset reveals new information, hidden paths, and opportunities to build the perfect route toward breaking the cycle.

One of the game’s standout features is the mysterious alien glaive, a weapon that grants reality-altering abilities. As players uncover more secrets, they’ll learn creative ways to use its powers to overcome obstacles, discover shortcuts, and access previously unreachable areas. Rather than unlocking new abilities through items, progress comes from understanding the world and mastering the loop itself.

Throughout the journey, players will also encounter a memorable cast of survivors, including a pizza-loving cat, a determined refugee leader, and a sinister cleric whose actions hint at a much larger conspiracy hidden beneath the ruins of Provenance.

Echo Weaver has already generated strong early impressions from those who played its demo, and an updated version is currently available on Steam for players who want an early taste of its unique gameplay.

With its blend of time-loop mechanics, exploration, and knowledge-driven progression, Echo Weaver is shaping up to be one of the more intriguing indie releases to keep an eye on this October.
