Take Down the Megacorporations in Half Left
Planck Constant Games is stepping into the spotlight during Steam Next Fest with Half Left, a haunting top-down horror shooter that now has a free demo available for players to try from June 15 to June 22, 2026.
Blending inspiration from titles like Darkwood, Dead Space, and Endoparasitic, Half Left leans heavily into psychological tension, survival mechanics, and a unique sense of unease. The game unfolds in a parallel future dominated by powerful megacorporations, where a mysterious outbreak has consumed a sealed research facility. The origin of the disease remains unknown, but its effects are deeply disturbing. It can warp both body and mind as the situation spirals out of control.

Players step into the role of a disabled nurse trapped inside the quarantined complex. Confined to a wheelchair, movement becomes a deliberate and tense experience, adding a distinct layer of strategy to exploration and combat. Resources are scarce, corridors feel suffocating, and every encounter carries weight as players face grotesque creatures born from something far beyond human understanding.
The game also weaves its story through fragmented logs and scattered memories, encouraging players to piece together the truth behind the outbreak. Its anime-inspired art style contrasts beauty with unsettling horror, reinforcing the game’s eerie tone.
The demo offers a strong early look at Half Left’s oppressive atmosphere and survival-driven gameplay ahead of its planned Q4 2026 release. You can also check out the official gameplay trailer below to get a glimpse of the action ahead.
