Dead Space Remake Devs to Work on New Iron Man Game

Move Over, Man of Steel – an Iron Man is Rocketing Into Production

A long while back, Electronic Arts announced that a game based on Marvel’s Iron Man had entered pre-production. Now, that announcement is starting to bear fruit.

Motive Studios, the developer behind the incredible Dead Space remake, is now hiring for several new roles. Specifically, a development director, senior gameplay programmer, AI programmer, and an audio programmer. So hey, if that sounds like your thing, they might be worth checking out.

Iron Man VR Delayed

The Iron Man project is described as a “third-person, action adventure” with “an original narrative that taps into the rich history of Iron Man, channeling the complexity, charisma, and creative genius of Tony Stark, and enabling players to feel what it’s like to truly play as Iron Man.” Not exactly a detailed analysis, but considering everything that the project is (and more importantly, isn’t), that’s probably for the best at this stage.

Much of this information comes to us through a developer AMA on reddit, as reported by IGN and Gamesradar. Specifically, they point to the /u/DeadSpaceDevs account. So if you’re looking for any updates on the project, you’re likely to find them on that account first and foremost!

Do you have any hopes for this upcoming project? Is it in good hands? What parts of Iron Man’s history would you like them to cover? Are there any parts of the IP you’d rather they avoid? Will it connect to other parts of the Marvel universe? Make your voice heard in the comments down below!
