Get Ready to Join the Fun in Instant Sports 2
Maximum Entertainment has officially revealed Instant Sports 2, a follow-up to the popular arcade-style sports title developed by Breakfirst Games. Building on the success of the original game, which surpassed 1.5 million copies sold worldwide, the sequel will launch digitally on July 16, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. Physical editions will arrive later on September 30, 2026, across EMEA and North America.
Instant Sports 2 expands the formula with a broader selection of activities, offering players access to 10 different sports. These include baseball, base jumping, mini-golf, mountain biking, tennis, boxing, rafting, and padel, along with additional surprises. Each activity is easy to pick up while still offering enough depth for players who want to refine their skills.
The game continues to emphasize local multiplayer, allowing up to four players to compete on the same screen. Performance in matches rewards players with tickets, which can be used in the in-game shop. This system ties into an expanded customization feature, where players can unlock outfits, equipment, and visual effects to create a more personalized character.
Another highlight is the introduction of a central game hub. Players can explore a lively sports park made up of distinct themed zones, each dedicated to a specific activity, adding a sense of progression and discovery.
With its mix of accessible gameplay and added variety, Instant Sports 2 aims to deliver a more dynamic and engaging party sports experience when it arrives this July.
