Get Ready Because We Gotta Go
FuzzyBot and publisher Mad Mushroom have confirmed that their upcoming co-op horror comedy, We Gotta Go, will launch on Steam on April 14. In the game, four friends set off on what should have been a simple trip, but things quickly spiral out of control after a questionable meal of gas station burritos. With pressure building fast, the group discovers that the only restroom nearby is located inside a haunted mansion. What follows is a frantic race through eerie halls filled with ghosts, traps, and plenty of ridiculous moments.
Before entering the mansion, players can customize their characters, equip unusual weapons, and boost themselves with items called “Supps.” Inside the mansion, teamwork becomes essential as players battle supernatural enemies while keeping an eye on their GI meter. The health bar represents the player’s colon, and fresh shorts act as armor as the team searches for the bathroom key and attempts to escape through the toilet before things get much worse.
The game’s demo gained significant attention during the recent Steam Next Fest, ranking as the 15th most-played demo during the event. Following feedback from players, the developers have added several new features for launch.
The full release will introduce multiple new biomes beyond the haunted mansion, including strange void areas and a dungeon filled with bizarre dangers. Players will also encounter new objectives, run-changing challenges, and more varied haunt scenarios. Weapons now come in three rarity tiers, ranging from baseball bats and plungers to strange items like poop knives and fart jar grenades.
Additional highlights include Mr. Bum’s Shop, new enemy types, and pit stops between biomes where players can purchase gear and prepare for the next chaotic run. The demo is currently available on Steam ahead of the April 14 release.
