Check Out the Chaos of Funnel Runners
Supernova Studios has unveiled a new cinematic trailer for its upcoming co-op survival game Funnel Runners, offering a dramatic glimpse of its gameplay. Set for release in Q2 2026, the title places players in a collapsing city as they attempt to survive and escape a devastating F5 tornado.
In Funnel Runners, players take on the role of contractors working for APEX Storm Monitoring Services. With the storm rapidly closing in, teams of up to eight players must search the environment for fuel, tools, and spare parts needed to repair their escape vehicle. The pressure builds as the city gradually tears apart, forcing players to think fast and act even faster.
Built using Unreal Engine 5, the game emphasizes large-scale environmental destruction. Structures are dismantled in real time, meaning any resources left behind can quickly become unreachable. This evolving landscape adds a constant sense of urgency, as safe zones and pathways disappear without warning.
The studio describes the experience as a race against time, focused on capturing the overwhelming force of nature. The strong early response appears to support that vision, with the game already surpassing 80,000 wishlists on Steam.
Key gameplay elements include dynamic weather systems featuring rain, hail, lightning, and shifting winds. It also features fully destructible environments that reshape each run. Players can team up for cooperative play or attempt solo survival, while randomized city layouts and unpredictable mechanical failures ensure each session feels different.
You can wishlist Funeral Runners on Steam right now to be among the first ones to escape the collapsing city. Also, check out the latest trailer right below.
