Rev Your Engine in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds
SEGA has officially rolled out the free Tangle & Whisper Content Drop for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. This latest update brings two beloved characters from the IDW comic series straight to the starting grid. Not only that, fans can now race as Tangle the Lemur and Whisper the Wolf. This adds fresh energy and personality to the high-speed competition.
The update introduces Tangle and Whisper as fully playable racers, each integrated into the game’s dynamic, cross-world tracks. Players will also find two new themed tracks in the in-game Jukebox: “Character Select” and “Result,” inspired by the duo’s signature style. To round out the experience, the content drop includes special emotes and unique sound effects that reflect their comic book roots.
Anyone who owns the Standard (physical or digital) or Digital Deluxe edition will receive the update automatically at no additional cost. Players simply need to update their game to the latest version to access the new content.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is available now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC starting at £64.99 GBP. The Nintendo Switch family of systems, including Nintendo Switch, Switch OLED, and Switch Lite, starts at £54.99 GBP. And the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is available digitally for £64.99 GBP.
