Get Ready for No Rest for the Wicked Together
Moon Studios has released a new trailer for the upcoming co-op multiplayer update for its action RPG, No Rest for the Wicked, giving players a detailed look at the feature ahead of its launch on January 22, 2026. Titled No Rest for the Wicked Together, the update first appeared last December during the Wicked Inside developer presentation. The new video focuses on cooperative gameplay and shows how players can explore the hostile yet visually rich world of Isola Sacra with up to three friends. No Rest for the Wicked remains available in Early Access and can be wishlisted on PC via Steam.
With No Rest for the Wicked Together, Moon Studios redesigns how co-op functions in modern ARPGs and MMORPGs. The update allows up to four players to share a persistent Realm without requiring a host to stay online. Players experience refined, soulslike combat that adapts to cooperative encounters, as enemies react aggressively when surrounded or outnumbered. The studio also added carefully selected enemy placements to keep exploration tense and unpredictable.
Beyond combat, the update expands social and downtime activities. Players can build and share housing, interact with newly reworked vendors, and coordinate decisions through a simple voting system. These additions foster teamwork and long-term progress while maintaining balance within shared worlds. Alongside the co-op features, the update introduces numerous quality-of-life improvements.
No Rest for the Wicked stands as Moon Studios’ third full-length title, following Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Players take on the role of a Cerim, a holy warrior tasked with destroying the Pestilence. Through weapon crafting, character upgrades, and intense combat, players shape their journey within a dark fantasy narrative, all presented through Moon Studios’ signature painterly art style.
