Square Enix Turns to Fans for Feedback on the Final Fantasy Franchise

Shape the Future of Final Fantasy

Square Enix is inviting fans to share their thoughts on the Final Fantasy series through a newly launched online survey. Open until January 9, 2026, the survey features more than 30 questions aimed at gathering detailed feedback from players across different regions and backgrounds.

While there are no rewards or incentives for completing the survey, it offers fans a direct way to express their opinions about one of gaming’s most iconic RPG franchises. As expected, the survey begins with standard demographic questions, including age and recent game purchasing habits, before moving into more series-focused topics.

The survey asks participants about their familiarity with Final Fantasy, whether they usually buy physical or digital copies, how many titles in the series they have played or purchased, and which entry they consider their favorite. It also explores player expectations for the future of the franchise, giving Square Enix insight into how fans feel about its direction moving forward.

Toward the end, respondents are given space to provide written feedback. This allows them to share more personal or detailed thoughts about the series, its evolution, and what they would like to see improved or expanded.

The survey arrives shortly after the release of the Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade demo. Players who try the demo receive bonus items for the full game, including Revival Earrings and the Survival Set. Save data from the demo will carry over to the main release when it launches on January 22, 2026.
