A Cozy Adventure Awaits in Find Your Words
Capybara Games, the studio known for Below, Grindstone, and Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP, has announced its upcoming title, Find Your Words. This small adventure invites players into a warm and colorful summer camp where communication takes place without spoken language. It is full of expressing ideas, forming connections, and understanding others through new, gentle methods of interaction.
Find Your Words invites players to a scenic world where lively animals fill the camp, creating a peaceful setting where friendships grow. As players move through the environment, they gather icons for a growing communication folder. Each icon represents a concept, and combining them leads to new meanings, interactions, and subtle moments of discovery. As relationships deepen, the campers will begin to reveal personal details that bring out their unique charm.
The game will be available at no cost. Two parents created the project after helping their children discover their own form of expression. And the game reflects that personal experience. Co-developer Jon Maur explained that the aim was to highlight differences in communication and introduce players to a simplified version of a commonly used AAC tool. The game uses exploration and problem-solving to draw attention to the small joys that appear during meaningful connections.
Co-developer Vic Nguyen added that the core idea is to help players understand more about how people bond beyond spoken language. This message shapes the atmosphere of the entire adventure, giving it a gentle and thoughtful tone.
Capybara Games unveiled the game during the Wholesome Snack Showcase, and it will launch on Steam in 2026. The studio will release it as a free title with an optional Supporter Edition. Players can already add Find Your Words to their Steam wishlist.
