Town to City Builds Onto Steam Early Access Today

Join the Creative Journey in Town to City

UK publisher Kwalee and independent studio Galaxy Grove have officially launched Town to City on Steam Early Access today. It’s a cozy and imaginative city builder from the creators of Station to Station, inviting players to start building their own thriving communities.

Set in a picturesque 19th-century world, Town to City allows players to design and customise every aspect of their town. From placing buildings and roads to arranging gardens and plazas, players can shape every detail to their personal vision. The Early Access version includes a story-driven campaign with two maps, a sandbox mode offering five different maps, eight city stages, six monuments, and over thirty quests to complete.

Players can follow the structured narrative of the campaign or take a more relaxed approach in sandbox mode, where they can build at their own pace. Whether meticulously arranging every corner or focusing on economic growth, Town to City offers freedom and creativity at every step. The game’s new launch trailer showcases bustling town squares, charming shopfronts, and happy citizens, while also highlighting key systems like population happiness and organic economic development.

Game Director Joost van Dongen expressed his excitement for the release, noting, “We’re incredibly excited to release Town to City! The creativity shown by our demo and beta players has been truly inspiring, and with the community’s feedback we’ve made the game even better. I can’t wait to see what players will build when the game is out, and to keep improving it together!”

Town to City is available for $24.99, €24.99, and £21.99, with an introductory 10% discount during its first week. A free demo is also available on Steam, already earning an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating. If you want to learn more about the game, check out our official preview right here.
