Another Milestone for Shape of Dreams

Shape of Dreams, the latest action roguelite from developer Lizard Smoothie and publisher NEOWIZ, has made a remarkable debut by surpassing 300,000 units sold within its first week on Steam. Its daily peak concurrent users hit 45,000, propelling it to number 4 on Steam’s Global Top Sellers chart and number 2 in South Korea, signaling strong global momentum.

“We’re deeply thankful to players worldwide for embracing the kind of roguelike action experience we’ve always dreamed of making,” said Eunsop Shim, co-founder and CEO, Lizard Smoothie. “With NEOWIZ as our partner, we’ll continue working hard to repay all the love and support we’ve received.”

Shape of Dreams combines roguelite action with MOBA-inspired combat, earning praise from critics and players alike. The game currently holds an 83 score on Metacritic and a very positive rating on Steam. Players can choose from eight distinctive Travelers, unlock new abilities through the Traveler Mastery System, and experiment with strategic options via the Constellation System. With more than 150 Memories and Essences to collect and combine, each run offers fresh and inventive builds. The game supports solo play as well as cooperative multiplayer for up to four players, adding variety and replay value.

Ahead of its release, Lizard Smoothie partnered with South Korea’s prominent hardware community QuasarZone for pre-launch performance testing. Insights gathered from frame analysis and hardware data are now being used to fine-tune the game’s technical performance post-launch.

Shape of Dreams is available on Steam for 24.99 USD, currently offered at a 20% discount till September 24. Players can also find it in two Steam bundles, created in collaboration with Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor and Warm Snow, which include an additional 10 percent discount on top of the launch promotion.
